Health and Safety comes in for a lot of criticism, however, the safety of the workforce is paramount, and it is the duty of responsible and caring employers to put measures and procedures into place to ensure their staff are able to carry out their duties without being exposed to any risk of injury.

The MAX Mobile Workstation mobilises the IT resources used in the warehouse for registering incoming goods, cross-docking, picking, stock-checking etc, with the objective of saving the time taken by operatives walking to and from fixed IT stations to fetch printed labels.  The productivity gains achieved by mobilising IT resources are higher work volumes and reduced labelling errors but by having mobile IT stations it means operatives do not have to walk across the paths where forklift trucks, and other mechanical machines, may be operating which lessens the risk of accidents happening and makes the work place safer.
