“Oh no, I left at the last location when I was interrupted.  Another 3 minutes down, I’ll not meet target”.

There’s no misplacing the scanner when you are wearing it.  No time lost picking it up and putting it down.  Arrive at the next pick location, scan the location code, scan the item code, confirm the quantity picked and on to the next.
